International Project – Creative Approach to Resilience and Bravery in Education

This international, EU commissioned project provides teachers and students with the necessary competences to discuss culturally sensitive issues in school and classroom context. With this project we address three important challenges in education: tackling social inequality; polarisation in the classroom; and overcoming reluctance and incompetence to take on tensions and diverse voices.

Aims of the project

  • Teachers with improved skills in empowerment to discuss culturally sensitive issues/mental health/creativity
  • Strengthen the following competencies among young people between 12 and 18 years.
    • having a voice;
    • express themselves authentically;
    • being mentally resilient in a fast polarising world.

We are working on this project with the following project partners:  UCLL, Belgium; Hummus, Belgium; Cesie, Italy and Laurea, Finland.
