Young People

Our workshops for young people are fun, creative and engaging and cater to a wide range of learning styles whilst ensuring that participants feel safe to explore taboo subjects.

We work with young people in schools and community settings.

All our schools work supports and enhances the PSHE curriculum and we have a specialism in developing student capacity for supporting emotional well-being.

In 2015 we won the HSJ Award for Mental Health for Time 2 Talk, our 3-year project in a large secondary school which supported a whole school approach to emotional well-being.

As well as longer term projects that respond to specific needs we also offer a range of stand alone workshops including:

  • understanding conflict
  • emotional literacy
  • mental health awareness
  • peer mentoring

Workshops range from 1hr to 4 days and can be tailored to suit different timeframes and budget.

Our community work with young people is often longer term and project based. Last year, we were commissioned by the NHS to develop a creative life skills course for young people transitioning out of the mental health service.  In response we developed, Focus a creative life skills courseWe are currently designing a leadership programme for young people in Haringey with the focus on supporting peers’ with emotional well-being.
